I have altered Dom No 2 from SaCrafters, sacrafters.com. You can find Sa on youtube as well here:https://www.youtube.com/user/SaCrafters
Sa also has a Facebook group at: SaCrafters

In order for the chipboard fence to wrap around the base, I misted lightly with water and held in place with rubbers bands until dry.

This does not come with the awning, I designed and constructed it using heavy duty black card stock and MDF wood slats from Sa.

I hope you like what I have created. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and check out my blog. Take care, Teresa

Promotion Project: Designs by Shellie, Tranquil Gardens, Altered Violin and a Card

Promotion Project for Designs by Shellie, Tranquil Gardens paper collection.  This collection as well as Classic Christmas Traditions and Beauty in Blues is available at:  J & S Hobbies and Crafts, 7811 NE St Johns Road, Suite B, Vancouver, WA as well as online at:  jshobbiesandcrafts.com

I have altered  SaCrafters Wood Violin Layers Shadow box.

Since it is a small area I kept it pretty simple so the papers would stand out.  I added trim to the sides, I used 2mm rhinestone chain as the violin strings, and added some flowers.

I also made a card to send with the violin.  I also used DBS Tranquil Gardens for the card and kept it simple adding only satin ribbon and a small flower cluster.

I hope you like what I have created for you.

All other items are from my stash.

To make the paper ruffle, I cut Beauty in Blues cardstock into 1” wide strips, I misted with plain water, once the cardstock was pliable I used my  fingers (like making pie crust ridges) in a pinch pleating motion, once the cardstock was almost dry I spritzed it with ordinary household spray start so the cardstock would become crisp and hold the ruffle shape.  To use, I gentle pulled it to lengthen it used hot glue to adhere to the rim of the lids.

I kept the flowers to a minimum to showcase the papers as well as the paper ruffles.

I hope you like what I have created.  Thanks for stopping by my blog and I will see you in the next project.  Take care.  Teresa
